Our 2026 Workshop Schedule

 Fast Cob! The Fastest Build on Earth! 2026 will be our 21st year of hosting workshops and much more importantly, our 19th year of teaching Fast Cob!

And this will be our 5th year of teaching the Fastest Build on Earth...we challenge anyone to show us a faster way to build than Fast Cob!  Unless you're using stone, there isn't a longer-lasting technique and no other technique can beat Fast Cob for generating zero waste, as well as being fire-, insect-, rodent- and even earthquake-proof...not to mention, Fast Cob creates the easiest building to live in and maintain, at least in my 62 years of life.

If you want to avoid their trap of going into life-long debt, our workshops will show you how anyone can build their own home, anywhere on the planet...no machines, power, fuel, or fancy tools required!

Here is Our 2026 Fast Cob Natural Building Workshop Schedule:

• Focus on Finishing: Thursday May 14 to Monday May 18 (over the Canadian Victoria Day Long Weekend)
• All the Basics of Building: Thursday June 25 to Monday June 29
• Roofs and Foundations for Fast Cobbers*: Thursday September 3 to Monday September 7 (over the Canadian Labour Day Long Weekend)

Our Complete Builder's Programme continues again this year: by registering and completing all 3 of the workshops above, you'll have all the skills needed to build a beautiful cob building from start to finish.  Plus you receive a significant discount compared to taking each workshop separately.

Thursdays and Mondays are travel days with a Welcome Dinner and Farewell Breakfast included.  That means you get 3 full, intensive days of learning as well as 3 hot, organic meals every workshop day.

We are also determined to keep the cost of our workshops affordable despite the government-induced inflation, which means we have kept our workshop fees for 2026 the same as they were in 2025!  Yay!

We are also hopeful that our 2026 graduates will follow 2025's Fast Cobbers by going home and building your own!  Harmony and Chris started building in August of 2025 and got 75% of their walls built and a full roof done before the Wet Coast rains came in earnest...they will have a completely finished home in less than a year!
