Do you love to cook for others? Do you love Natural settings and/or Natural Building?
Our Workshops have earned a reputation for excellent food that is plentiful and nourishing. In our 10th year of hosting these workshops, we want you to build on that tradition and expand it the way only YOU can!
If you don't know where we are already, we are on Lasqueti Island, an off-the-grid small community in the Salish Sea that strives to be self-sufficient in many different ways.
Similar to electricity that we make ourselves, we don't have grocery stores but we do have local, fresh produce, both in our backyard and in nearby gardens, and we have happy hens laying organic eggs!
Our workshop menus are simple but delicious. Our eager workshop participants will be hungry and grateful for your offerings!
You will either live on Lasqueti and commute to our workshop location, or you will stay the week with us. If you are comfortable tenting, you'll have first pick of where to camp. If you want a bed, we have a Guest Tent or a Cob Guest House that will accommodate you.
Our location is rustic - by choice. Nature is all around you and the air and water is pure and crystal clear.
We will work together to create a menu that will both be enjoyable for you and nourishing for all of us.
If the current 2016 schedule doesn't completely work for you, we can still tweak it as two of our past cooks are willing to fill in for a day or two if need be.
Our Workshops page has lots of details about the weeks that you will be working with us. Please ensure that you read it thoroughly so there are no surprises, only inspirations!
After you have read about our workshops, please answer the questions below. Obviously make sure we can contact you so that Dave can interview you by phone at a mutually convenient time. All applications will be responded to. And thank you for making our team even better!
